Release overview for version  1.3

In the V1.3 release of AlphaBridge, we have introduced the following features:

Enhanced user roles

We have introduced additional user roles alongside permission levels to provide you with the ability to differentiate between the different actions that a user can perform on the AlphaBridge system.

Enhanced entity management

We have extended the entity management functionality to provide you with the ability to set up a folder structure on AlphaBridge into which you can put your existing and new VAT registered entities. This will allow you to control whether or not users can access the folder. Together with role enhanced user roles this gives you the means to control what users can access and what they can do.

HMRC Anti-fraud headers

This release contains support for the new requirement to provide additional ‘relevant ancillary metadata’ to HMRC when transmitting the VAT information. This is so that HMRC can identify any suspicious activity when monitoring the exchange of information to and from your business tax account, thereby protecting your business from fraud. This was introduced by The Delivery of Tax Information through Software (Ancillary Metadata) Regulations, SI 2019/360 and is effective from 1 April.

New and updated documentation

In support of this release we have created three feature summary documents that provide more in-depth information on the above new feature and we have updated the Administrator's Guide.
